This review is coming from a 23 year old male ICU nurse, and self described technology fanatic. My house is filled wall to wall with gadgets and I keep up on my tech news with a passion. This is my 3rd apple computer, 1st desktop experience. I debated on going for the i7 vs. the i5 for quite some time. Although the tech nerd side of me was screaming for the i7 simply because I could, I decided for what I need the computer for the i5 would suffice (i.e. word, excel, power point, web browsing, music, video etc.) I am more into media consumption than creation. Why not go for the i3 you ask? Well, as my biology professor said upon buying his iMac, it is to weather the computer future as gracefully as possible. You should never buy the dirt cheap model (although I imagine 1699 isn’t exactly dirt cheap to most), but rather decide what you really need a computer for and maybe go one above that to help it stay relevant as technology continues it’s breakneck pace (darn you Moore!). Anyway, the computer itself is terribly fast, there is no real lag between clicking and doing on this machine. Video playback is smooth and looks wonderful on the huge 27 inch screen which is really the selling point on this computer. The resolution is quite astounding and makes my samsung 55 inch 1080p seem drab in comparison. The speakers are about as good as to be expected in an all-in-one device (seriously, if you are looking for extreme base in this kind of set up, you are fooling yourself). The computer does seem to run a touch hot on top, but only when really putting those quad cores to use. While I haven’t done much gaming, I have read great reviews on it’s ability to run all the steam stuff available. What makes this thing really nice though, is the fact that the entire computer is powered by a single power cable. Sitting on my desk you see a huge, crisp, beautiful 27 inch display with wireless mouse and keyboard, and a single cable. That is really a site to behold compared to my desktop PC which has wires for speakers, monitors, keyboard, modem, wi-fi, etc. Overall, this is a truly fantastic machine that will please most in my opinion.

I damaged my LCD screen while replacing a broken glass screen on my 3GS, so I ordered this. I followed step-by-step instructions I found in some youtube video and everything worked pretty good. Parts worked perfectly and everything looks exactly like original. Make sure you have a clean work area and plenty of patience.

Never worked… End of story… Now I get to see how they’re return policy is or if they will send me a working replacement… If they do, the rate will go up quite a bit, if not all the way, if only for the good customer service….. But we’ll see!

After looking at a number of similar items costing up to $12 for ONE screen protector, I was a little unsure of how these were going to turn out. I was pleasantly surprised to find they were exactly what I was looking for. I have an iPod touch and my husband has an iPhone, and they fit both of them perfectly. The only thing we did with his phone was to cut a hole where the earpiece is, and it works fine.

I was surprised to find the single cable portion of this y cable is not 21″ as shown in the diagram. It is… in fact only 8.5″ long. Far too short for my application.
I have not even hooked it up so I have no comment on how well it works. It will be returned.

Works as described. Plug does not fit into iPhone with bumper case on. Had to file the plug down to fit into the bumper case and sits a little loose now. Overall good product for the price.

Connecting a 2010 13″ Macbook Pro to a spare Samsung monitor worked just fine. However, either the adapter, or the macbook would not send signal to my 61″ Samsung DLP tv. So if you have one of those, I would not recommend this adapter, other than that, it seemed to work fine.

This worked fine for the first few days. I hooked up my MacBook Pro (purchased 2009) to a 19″ Dell LCD monitor. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped working to the slightest touch.
The Dell monitor flickered a message that said something along the lines of “Not enough power” (can’t remember exact message – was several weeks ago). It would work again if I unplugged the cable then plugged it back in, but it would “break” again in 30-45 minutes.
After a while I got tired of it and shelled out $30 for the real thing, which has worked with no problems at all.
Not sure if this is specific to the monitor I was using, or if I got a defective cable, but spend the extra $20 and get the real deal from Apple and save yourself a headache.

I bought this battery, because my old battery just suddenly died. I have used my new battery for a few weeks now, and it works great. It is not a genuine Apple product. But, I like its low price. The most important thing is that it does the job. I do not care much that it is produced by Apple or not. In my opinion, Apple makes excellent stuff, but they are unreasonably over-priced. OK, let’s get back to the battery itself. Well, the first time that I wanted to charge it, it took a few hours. But now, it charges quite fast. Frankly, I use my laptops mostly like a desktop. I mean that I connect them to the charger most of the time. I checked a few times to work with my laptop without the charger, and the battery life was quite good. In conclusion, I really like this battery, and I think that it works great. At the end, I just want to quickly mention a very small negative point about the battery. Its color did not match completely with my aluminum casing for my Apple PowerBook G4. It is quite paler than what it should be. I personally, do not care much. Who’s going to look at the bottom of your laptop, anyway?

This is my 2nd aftermarket battery, and by far the best. The original equipment batteries are notoriously bad/short lived, and expensive! This unit has outlived the other’s and shows no signs of giving me less than approx 2 hrs of use, just like when all 3 were new.
I will buy this product again, and recommend it to anybody.

Cover works as advertised, not great quality but serves its purpose. One negative is that it is not really made to take off once it is on, almost have to break it to get it off. If you do plan to take it off, remember where the clips are located so that you can slide something in to release them.

This is a great case. It protects the ipod. It works better than the silicone case. It is a little hard to take off, but just use a knife or a key with a little twist and it will open.
Off the record, look at the picture of the iPod it is jailbroken LOL.
